Personal Information We Collect

We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site. We also us IP address to validate your country of origin - this is used for Homeland Security purposes ensuring material is not being export to improper recipients.

Our site registration form requires users to give us contact information such as your name, email address and phone number, company name and the like. We use customer contact information from the registration form in order to send you quotation information (the result of Requests for Quotes sent to WBParts by you). This customer contact information is also used so our web site can "recognize" you when you visit our site and are logged-in. When our site "recognized you" through your login credentials you are provided access to additional information specific to your personal account such as your orders with WBParts, WBParts shipment notifications, WBParts invoices for items you have ordered, etc.

Our once logged in to our site, we use cookies to assist in our site "recognizing who you are". Cookies allow you to enter your password once during a session. Cookies are stored on your hard drive, not on our site.

Company Proprietary Information We Collect

Company proprietary information we collect is Request for Quote (RFQ) information. This RFQ information is in the form of part numbers and quantities required by you the user. You enter this information into our system either through the input forms provided by the website, or through spreadsheets you upload through the website. Additionally, some customers provide this information directly to their WBParts sales person via email.

Our Use of Your Information

Quite simply, our business is providing parts to our suppliers. We use personally identifiable information and your provided company proprietary information to provide you with parts quotations.

Our Disclosure of Your Information

Information provided to WBParts is used exclusively by WBParts to service your Request for Quotes requirements. In servicing your requirements there may be instances where divulging your information to third parties is required. For example, WBParts may be required to notify the US Department of State, the US Department of Commerce, or the manufacturer in instances where "controlled" items are being sold or exported. WBParts does abide by all applicable US export controls laws and regulation and may be called upon by the US Government to provide information on request originating from "Denied Entities" as defined by the US Department of Commerce, US Department of State, and Homeland Security.

WBParts, Inc. does not provide or make available users' personal information or company proprietary information to any third parties other than those required above.

Control of Your Information

Do not disclose your WBParts password to any third parties nor share it with any third parties. If your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change your password as detailed in the "My Account" section of the website.

Security

WBParts uses industry standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal identifiable information, such as firewalls and Secure Socket Layers; however, "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet. You are always welcome to communicate directly with you sales person in a communication method more to your liking (phone, fax, email, etc.).
