2541-01-561-5129 An assortment of steel louvers with slats, mounted on a combat vehicle, designed to stop Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) rounds from contacting the vehicle surface. The slats are designed to catch an RPG or similar propelled device and detonate it away from the vehicle. The slat armor generally encircles the entire vehicle perimeter; the roof and wheels may or may not be protected. Kits may be attached to the vehicle using blast plates and mounting brackets included in the kit.
