3424-01-488-8966 An enclosure that uses a water/air cooled compressor and/or liquid nitrogen/oxygen to lower temperature of objects to -100 degrees Fahrenheit (-67.5 degrees Celsius) or lower. The primary use is to convert steel from austenite to martensite, for age hardening, stress relieving, expansion assembly, dimensional stabilization, spark and precipitation hardening, and other heavy-duty industrial chilling applications. Can also be used for low temperature storage of materials. Excludes REFRIGERATOR-FREEZER, MECHANICAL, FOOD; FREEZER, MECHANICAL, FOOD; and FREEZER, PREFABRICATED.
