3610-01-337-2824 A machine which applies a uniform negative charge to a zinc oxide coated paper in the absence of light and then exposes the charged surface to light reflected off the image of the original. The paper is developed by bringing it in contact with a positive charged toner. The image is made permanent by thermally fusing the thermoplastic toner onto the paper or by passing the paper through a solution and drying in a stream of air.
