4120-01-607-5731 A self-contained unit designed to perform the functions of cooling, filtering and circulating fresh air. In operation, fresh air is drawn into the cooler from an outside source, through water evaporating filter pads, by a power driven fan. The temperature of the air is reduced by the principle of evaporative cooling. The air is then forced through a discharge opening. May be connected to an air duct system. See also AIR CONDITIONER.
