The removal of particles and the cooling action are accomplished by porous, fibrous or shredded material (metallic or non-metallic) which is suitable for moisture saturation, loosely woven or matted, the shape of which is maintained by stiffening or binding material. It is designed to fit into a COOLER, AIR, EVAPORATIVE or ventilating system which has retaining devices. It may be furnished in a frame or in a continous length. Excludes FILTER ELEMENT, AIR CONDITIONING.
