An integral feature is incorporated for locking on the threads of a mating member. The slots when used in conjunction with a solid or split (cotter) pin, act as an extra "fail safe" feature in critical applications. Excludes NUT (1), SELF-LOCKING, SLOTTED, HEXAGON.
