5310-01-346-0137 A nut having a flat bearing surface and 6 flat sides with slots in its upper portion. An integral feature is incorporated for locking on the threads of a mating member. The slots, when used in conjunction with a solid or split (cotter) pin, act as an extra "fail safe", feature in critical applications. Excludes NUT (1), SELF-LOCKING, CASTELLATED, OCTAGON.
