5975-00-833-3244 An item of metallic composition with a chamber for sealing compound and two hubs to accommodate electrical conduits of specified sizes. This item is designed with a filler hole and a removable screw plug to enable the pouring of sealing compound into the chamber for the purpose of preventing the passage of explosive gases through a conduit run. The item is primarily designed for use in hazardous locations and may be designed for vertical use, horizontal use, or both.
