6515-01-526-4465 A sterile kit consisting of a silicone lumbar catheter, 14 gauge touhy needle with humber point, female luer lock connector, cap for connection to monitoring of cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) collection equipment, and other related items. Item is used for temporary access to the lumbar subarachnoid region as a means of draining cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) to reduce increased intracranial volume and pressure. It is compatible for use with the collection bag and tubing set, external drainage system. Excludes DRAINAGE UNIT, EXTERNAL.
