It provides rigid skeletal fixation for supine, prone, lateral, or sitting positions during neurosurgical procedures. May include three adult cone shaped pins, mechanism to allow insertion of adult or child size pins, and a calibrated adjusting knob to permit positioning of pins and provide pressure readings.
